7-UP Ice Chest/Cooler Made by Progress Refrigerator Co. Louisville, KY. This old vintage cooler is just about built like a refrigerator. Measures 18″ long x 13″ wide, and is 19″ to the top of the handle, when it is in the up, locking lid on position. Cooler has a water drain on one side with thread on chained cap. Bottle opener on one end of cooler, below handle bracket. Lift out tray inside, the tray and cooler inside are galvanized metal, and in nice condition. Outside of cooler is painted aluminium with the 7-UP logo’s on both sides The outside has the usual scratches and small loss of paint in areas. Riveted side handles. Like many of the Progress Refrigerator cool boxes has no aluminium corners at the top. This is a heavy cool box which you would not like to carry far full of ice and bottles.
