A vintage globe by Rand McNally dating from around the 1960’s.
This lovely mid-century world portrait globe is made from card and sits on a gold coloured metal base. It features embossed topographical mountain ranges, spinning time zone dial on the top to see what time it is on the other side of the world, and measures distances with the metal arm.
The glue between the seams of the embossment are stained due to old glue and there are a couple of small spots where it is a bit worn. There is a surface scratch on the base. Please see images.
