Description
This is a selection of vintage American tin tiles on a wood frame, ready to attach to your wall either as a splashback or decorative wall art. This piece is made from reclaimed tin tiles so there is some surface damage to the paint as shown. There may be small holes in a tile where it was fastened in place when it was originally used. It has 12 smaller individual tiles arranged in a 4×3 grid made to look like one big tile. Each tile is a different colour or pattern so will fit into any interior space.
The splashback can be hung vertically or horizontally depending on your preference.
Each splashback is unique because we use vintage tin ceiling tiles which have been gently reclaimed from the ceilings of old houses in America. They can be given a lacquer spray before putting in place, this will seal the remaining paint, prevent further rust spots appearing and enable them to be wiped clean.
Please remember when buying vintage items, they will have signs of use but that is also what makes them so unique. We do our best to photograph and explain the condition of the item as best we can.
