Wooden plum drying tray.
This would have been used to place plums on to dry and turn into prunes. Tear drop shaped, these trays are usually handmade in France.
This tray has2 hooks on the back which could be used for hanging it up. It has a couple of broken slats and some of the varnish has worn away in places. Please see images.

Styling: This would be a great prop for agricultural scenes. Make fantastic interior sculpture simply hung on the wall and equally can be used as a very large table decoration. Suspend from the ceiling and use it dry flowers etc on it.
