American vintage molasses jug or crock. Traditional design and shape to this stoneware crock. Thick sides, narrow neck for pouring and finger grp lifting handle for a slow pour. Still has cork to the top. This one came out of Northern Maine but traditional to New England and the North Eastern states. There are a few nibbles around the edges of the base and top of the earthenware body, the dark brown top has none. There are no cracks.
