A handsome portrait of a couple with some hand written information on the back. They were married in 1917, Halina and her husband August, we think!
Known as Bubble frames, or convex frames as the glass curves outwards. One of the most popular portrait styles from circa 1880 – 1940 which fits with the dress and style of portrait.
Early photograph with hand painted detail to finish, Good vintage condition, glass is a little loose, back will probably need replacing. Some general wear and tear marks on the wooden frame.
