The history of Mosser Glass.
Tom Mosser began Mosser Glass.
He and his father worked for the Cambridge Glass Company. It closed in 1954 so Tom decided to build a company of his own. He spent the next 5 years buying glass moulds and equipment. In 1959 he began manufacturing glassware from an abandoned chicken coop.
Within 2 years he was able to move from the coop and form Variety Glass. He produced glassware for the pharmaceutical industry.
In 1971 he established Mosser Glass with products that blend new designs and timeless classics.
Each cake stand employs 14 men in its manufacture. Each part of the process is hand finished to create each beautiful classic cake stand. Click. into the picture to see sizes and colours
