Older style soda crate with green text – 7 Up the uncola. 7up has existed as a drink since 1929, but it wasn’t until 1936 that it was given the name 7Up. t marketed itself as the Uncola the antithesis of Coca-Cola in every way. It was known for being fresh, clean, and clear, with no aftertaste or caffeine to speak of. 7UP was the third best-selling soda brand in the USA in 1972. This crate is logoed up in green on all 4 sides but inside in red. The date is October 1975. Condition is good considering the age. It has been used and the boards are splitting a little on the base, but it is still usable, but not the best for really heavy weights.
