Solid metal steel American military helmet.
The helmet is made of steel and has the original webbing and strap liner. It has a nice patina all over. Inside the rim is stamped with US Govt Property, OCD and a small picture of a wolf or dog.
Part of the chin strap and liner has ripped and the top of the helmet has a few dents. Please see images.
These helmets were made starting in 1941 by president Roosevelt in order to protect civilians and boost morale.
