Description
Bacon’s map of Herefordshire, before it became joined to Worcestershire. This is a double page map of the county but no frame. There are no rips or tears but a yellowing of the paper it is printed on.
The Population figures for Herefordshire in 1891 were 115,986. All the main railways are marked with the station names, the Parliamentary Boroughs, main roads and canals. A fascinating look back to the county of more than a 100 years ago.
