Large vintage bamboo splint basket.
Good solid structure, the bottom of the basket is well constructed with bamboo, and additional support splints up the sides and across the base.
The rim is wrapped and in good shape, with some loose areas, plus there a a few small bits of the bamboo that have broken to leave a small gap. The base is square shaped and has woven splint supports over the bamboo. General age and use related marks, which is what will make it fit in and feel right at home in any interior.
