Description
Vintage American tin tile sheet on a wood frame, ready to attach to your wall either as a splashback or decorative wall art. Featuring a Fleur de Lis pattern, this piece is made from reclaimed tin tile sheets so there is some surface scratches, spots of rust and damage to the paint as shown. There are small holes where it was fastened in place when it was originally used. There is a section of grey paint equivalent to to squares of the pattern where it was previously painted plus a couple of paint drips from a previous colour. There is some rust on the back. The panel can be hung vertically or horizontally depending on your preference (although the pattern will be facing sideways if hung horizontally).
Each panel is unique because we use vintage tin tiles which have been gently reclaimed from old houses in America. They can be given a lacquer spray before putting in place, this will seal the remaining paint, prevent further rust spots appearing and enable them to be wiped clean.
Please remember when buying vintage items, they will have signs of use but that is also what makes them so unique. We do our best to photograph and explain the condition of the item as best we can.
