Mexico’s iconic national liquor Tequila is loved far and wide. Made from the agave plant, a desert succulent grown mainly in Mexico. This is our version of the spiky plant, made from scrap metal, handmade in Tequilas very own home country of Mexico. Gathered off cuts of scrap metal are welded together and mounted onto a round metal ring base, to make this cool bar feature. It has the original Hecho en Mexico sticker on it.
Fact of the day – Tequila can only be produced in certain states and municipalities in Mexico, anything outside this area can not be called Tequila, similar to the Champagne region in France.
As these items are handmade, they all differ slightly, giving each one its own personality. There are some surface scratches as shown.
We have other sizes and another colour in these Agave decorations and also other reclaimed metal sculptures, so please have a look at our other listings or contact us for more information.
Please remember when buying vintage items, they will have signs of use but that is also what makes them so unique. We do our best to photograph and explain the condition of the item as best we can. If you have any questions about a particular item, please contact us. Please take the time to look at all pictures.
