Description
Made by the Japanese company Tamaya & Co. This slide rule appears to be based on bamboo wood. It moves smoothly and the scales line up well – each plastic strip is secured by two pins. On the back of the slide are Sine, Log and Tan scales. Inches and centimetres on the rule edges, centimetres in the well.
Also on the back is a laminated card with several tables i.e Decimal equivalents in 1 foot, formulas for diameter and circumference of circles etc, weights and measurements, and weights and strengths of metals. There are also 2 names scratched into the back metal plate
