A wonderful Art Deco amber glass vase from the Stolzle glass factory.
The pressed glass vase is conical in shape and stands upon three disc feet. These discs are plain and have a textured band across the middle. The body of the vase is clear with two textured horizontal bands with circular ‘studs’.
The rim itself has a slightly scalloped edge which adds to the art Deco appeal of the vase.
The entire vase is in a warm and rich amber glass.
Made in the 1930s this vase was produced by Austrian glass manufacturer Stolzle at their Hermanova Hut factory in the former Czechoslovakia. This period of manufacture is also known as Bohemian and prior to the emergence of the Sklo period.
