Description
A vintage Midwest Industries children’s tricycle made in Willard, Ohio, U.S.A. This trike is red with white accents.
The frame, handlebars and wheels are all made out of steel and have some rusting and scratches to them. This trike has a steel fender or mud guard on the front, white wheels and solid rubber tyres with ‘Midwest’ embossed onto them. There is a footplate platform for a second passenger at the back and the original ‘Midwest Industries’ sticker is on the front. The black plastic handle grips are still there and the set is also black plastic. The bottom edge of the seat has cracked away in a couple of places. Please see images.
Although the company is still in business, Midwest appears to have made tricycles from the early 1950s through the early 1960s.
