Vintage unused, Chinese silk umbrella in original box.
A beautiful painted Chinese mountain and countryside scene on green silk. The handle and umbrella spokes are made from natural bamboo with a green painted top and handle. It has a contrasting blue and yellow cord tie to keep the umbrella closed when not in use. Opens and closes like most umbrellas by pushing it up until it ‘clicks’ then pushing the button to release it.
Although this was the first time this umbrella was opened, is does have some staining from the bamboo struts on part of the silk. This can be seen in the images. The box is a bit dirty looking and has a small rip in it.
