Description
A pretty vintage square pot by L & Sons Ltd Hanley pottery.
This is a small pot with an oriental scene across all four sides depicting a mountain, trees, a bridge and a boat in the water. The main colours are blues and yellows.
It is stamped on the bottom with the L & Sons Ltd, Made in England mark, “Negishi Ware” British Made, Registered No. 733801 and is also engraved with the pattern number 469.
There is a couple of cracks on the top of the pot and some crazing in the glaze. This can be seen in the photographs.
