Vintage 4HZ Nymanbolagen outboard motor.
This motor is thought to be a Crescent Marin or Skipper outboard motor. The serial number badge is on the side and it still has all parts to the clamps etc, except for the propeller blade which is missing. Please see images.

NV marine “Skipper” was advertised as “suitable for both rowing boats, dinghies, canoes and sailboats. NV-Marin Skipper has a fan-cooled 48 cc engine with magnapull start and dashboard with throttle, lighting socket 6 V 17 W, flow button and short-circuit button”.
Nymanbolagen was started by Anders Nyman in Uppsala, Sweden in 1873 making instruments then the company expanded gradually by buying other Swedish bicycle manufacturers. In 1906 his son Janne Nyman started production of inboard motors and from 1913 outboard motors. In 1954 the 48cc air-cooled “NV Marin” was presented. This motor sold in large numbers, (400 000 motors till 1979) and was based on modern German two-stroke principles.
