Vintage Hartmann tan brown hard shell leather suitcase with double locking clasps.
This Hartmann case is in super condition inside and out. It is lined in a red and brown paisley pattern fabric on a cream background and still has the original protective plastic cover inside. There is a matching fabric strip on either side to stop the lid from falling open. There are 4 elasticated loops in the case to store bottles or similar upright. Also inside is the Hartmann Luggage label. The name and address has been filled out by a previous owner from America. Within the lid is a handheld mirror that fastens into a plastic pocket. The mirror handle rotates so it can be used as a freestanding mirror.
On the front of the case there are 2 brass locks that are concealed by a strip of the tan leather. It fastens close with a press stud on either side. There is also a matching tan leather shoulder strap for easy carrying. The Hartmann logo is on the brass hinges at the back of the case and there is an ‘H’ imprinted on the top of the lid.
There are some minor surface marks on the case and there are no keys. Please see images.
