Description
Vintage blonde wood steam bobbins. These have hole in them so that when a delicate or hairy yarn was being spun, steam would be pushed through the bobbin to keep the yarn damp. This gives the slightly darker interior f the bobbin.
Great for all sorts of re purposing projects, use as furniture legs/feet, candle holders or even lamp bases.
Note, each bobbin is individual and shows general age related wear.
