Vintage pair of handmade leather child shoes in a glass display case. The glass case has a faux velour red strip to help display the shoes inside. The shoes are attached together with some string. They are worn and have cracks and holes as shown.
Also included is a hand written letter from Herbert Rowell Stevens stating that the shoes were worn by his grandmother Charlotte Rowell when she was a young girl. She was born on the 7th October 1818 and the shoes were made and worn not after. An interesting item from history.
