Vintage single pulley from America.
The entire pulley is made of cast iron and is made by Yale & Towne MFG.
It appears that the wheel of the pulley was once painted red and green. The paint has worn in places and there are some surface scratches. Please see images. Please note that this is quite heavy.
Pulleys were often used on farms, ranches, on ships, in various types of plants and factories.

Styling: Pulleys make great display pieces and even great to incorporate into lighting. Place on a shelf or use as a display piece for nautical or farmhouse décor in homes, gardens, restaurants, bars, beach huts etc; or perhaps group 2 or 3 different sized pulleys in a small display. Would make an excellent bookend. Use it in your garden to hang a potted plant.
