Vintage small wooden double block and tackle pulley from America.
The pulley is made of wood, with a cast iron hook/sheave, bottom wheel and pulley.
The surface has aged and worn to give it a lovely patina but is still structurally sound. The manufacturers name badge is on the side and is very difficult to read due to being worn. Please see images.
Pulleys were often used on farms, ranches, on ships, in various types of plants and factories.

Styling: Pulleys make great display pieces and even great to incorporate into lighting. Place on a shelf or use as a display piece for nautical or farmhouse décor in homes, gardens, restaurants, bars, beach huts etc; or perhaps group 2 or 3 different sized pulleys in a small display. Would make an excellent bookend. Use it in your garden to hang a potted plant.
