Description
Vintage original American street sign. This is a white metal sign with raised black embossed lettering reading ‘Palermo Av.’. These black and white street signs were originally from Upstate New York.
The sign is quite heavy as it is solid metal. There are some surface scratches, rust, paint flaked off in places and a slight bend in the middle of the sign. This can all be seen in the photographs. There are also 4 divots out of the top and bottom of the sign. This could be from the fixtures used or if other signs were attached to it.
