Description
Vintage Coleman lantern Model 220F ‘Sunshine of the Night’. It is a double mantle lantern which produces more light. Advertised as “wind proof, storm proof and bug proof. The porcelain enamelled ventilator reflects light out and downward to put the light where you need it. It can run all night with a small amount of unleaded fuel. Genuine Pyrex globe is heat resistant”.
The glass in intact and has the original Coleman mark on it. The neck of the lantern has the model number information engraved into it. It is dated 1967 on the base.
There are a few chips in the enamel and some rusting to the handle and metal frame holding the glass. This can be seen in the photographs.
